Gamlingay Gargoyle

Gargoyles of Gamlingay

 

Gamlingay's main place of worship is The Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin, a medieval building that has lots to offer to the visitor. Particularly fine are the the carved oak choir stalls inside, with some lovely misericords. But everyone's favourites have to be the gargoyles. There are about a dozen of them. On this page, I'll eventually produce a picture of each one. For the moment, however, you'll have to make do with just this one...
